We stayed one night while on our way to Belgium, and I’d absolutely recommend the place. It’s been renovated with good taste, and was clean, quiet, and had comfortable beds. There’s private parking right outside the entrance. I asked the owners if we could arrive after check-in time, and they arranged it easily with a key box and code.

We loved how quiet and spacious it was, and the room itself was huge and very comfortable. It was spotless, with a fridge and coffee machine, and the patio looked out over the town of Como. Parking was plentiful, with some covered spaces, and felt very safe. The woman who helped us was lovely, though the check-in window was short. Getting into town was the difficult part. The place is high up a hill, and reaching the bus meant walking about half a mile down a steep slope, then another three-quarters of a mile to the stop. After a long day, climbing back up was awful. It wouldn’t suit someone with knee problems or who isn’t very active. We only made that trip once, since driving into Como and using a garage turned out cheaper.

For a place rated three stars, it felt more like a solid four to me. The rooms were comfortable, everything was spotless, and the service was warm and welcoming. It was great value, and I’d happily stay again.

We stayed just one night in August 2024. The room was nice, clean, spacious, and had a lovely view. The shower was blocked, which was the one downside. It’s also a bit isolated and some distance from the center.
