The views from our room were spectacular, and the sunsets to the left of the hotel looked like postcards. We enjoyed eating at the adjacent hotel restaurant each night. Two nights we chose the fixed menu, and on the last we had pizza. Both choices were good. Sarah at reception treated us and other guests really well. We stayed three nights in mid April, just before the Liberty Day celebrations, when everyone seemed to be getting ready for a busy stretch. Getting there by public transportation wasn’t easy, which was the only reason I rated the location four out of five. Three nights was plenty. Take time to relax or you’ll miss the white big idea.

We’re still seeking a refund and pursuing a formal complaint through Hotels.com. The hotel had offered shuttle support, but then said we had to pay €50 for a taxi just to reach the pickup point. That felt misleading and wasn’t a proper shuttle service. When my partner and I called to sort it out, staff were rude, showed no care or professionalism, and made no real effort to resolve anything. After that, they ignored our calls and messages. I wouldn’t trust the positive reviews based on what we experienced. Stay somewhere else, this wasn’t worth risking a holiday for.

We felt unsafe, unwelcome, and left to fend for ourselves. After advertising shuttle support, the hotel refused to send one when we arrived and needed it, pushing us toward a very expensive taxi fare to get there. It felt like pressure to pay an unreasonable extra cost after booking. We called for help while standing in the street, but staff were rude and dismissive to both of us, then grew angry and aggressive. They offered no practical solution or reassurance, and later ignored our calls. We’re still pursuing a formal complaint through Hotels.com and seeking a refund. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

We had a sea-view room, and opening the windows in the morning gave us perfect views. The location was great, and the service was really good. Parking close to the hotel is difficult, so the shuttle can be a little slow, but the staff were accommodating and picked us up or dropped us off at the time we requested, even late at night or early in the morning.

The views made up for a pretty average breakfast. We had a car and weren’t sure about parking, but hotel guests can leave it for free in the lot a little before the hotel. A tiny shuttle takes you down from there, which was an adventure on the narrow road, though the drivers were great. The hotel also has access to a little beach that feels private, even though it isn’t.
