Hotiday Room Collection - Nerano

The location and breakfast were the only partly positive points. We booked two rooms, and the stay was disappointing from beginning to end, with one inconvenience after another. The staff were unfriendly and unprofessional. Hotiday listed parking at €20, but after we arrived they said our large car would cost €30. No one had mentioned that beforehand. One room had an unbearable musty smell as soon as we walked in. We told reception right away, especially as we were traveling with our two-month-old son. The rude reply was that we could switch rooms. There was no apology or attempt to make up for it, and the smell was exhausting. We also only learned on site that the pool costs extra, and that even a quick meal at the restaurant requires a reservation, although it was practically empty. The staff offered no help or attention to guests, which really clashes with the four-star image they present. Everything else, starting with the staff, needs radical improvement. We won't come back or recommend it.
