Arriving by boat at Conca del Sogno in Nerano feels special right away. The turquoise water and dramatic coastal views make this one of the most iconic beach clubs on the Sorrento Coast, with Italian charm alongside an easy sense of luxury. The atmosphere is polished but relaxed, intimate and glamorous without feeling pretentious. It's a memorable place for a private event or simply a day by the sea, and it works especially well as a VIP event venue. Service is impeccable, and the staff go out of their way to treat guests like royalty. The fresh Mediterranean food is elegant and exceptional. Conca del Sogno feels like a destination in itself.

We had a delicious lunch at Conca del Sogno, with fresh seafood, nicely cooked pasta, and friendly, attentive service. The setting is one of the area's most beautiful, with clear water and breathtaking views. The beach club is well organized, with comfortable sunbeds and an atmosphere that's lively yet relaxed. It's an ideal place to swim, eat, and enjoy the scenery for a day. Book ahead in peak season, since it's popular. A must-visit if you're nearby.

The waiter was very nice, and we appreciated the boat service, but my friends and I didn't enjoy the afternoon. We expected a fun lunch party and instead found it really boring. We'd made our reservation four months ahead, after being advised to book in advance. When we arrived, they told us the party club area was reserved for a wedding and seated us in the regular section. If we'd known, we wouldn't have hired a private boat and come here. People come for the experience, not the food. We raised this face to face, but nobody seemed apologetic or understanding. Other tables and groups said the same thing. The restaurant or manager should have told regular guests about the situation.

We arrived by boat without a reservation, and the staff kindly found room for us. Finding the restaurant was tricky because its Google Maps location is wrong: it's actually on the beach, beside a beach club. The setting is beautiful, and the service was warm and attentive throughout. Celebrities often eat here, which is clearly part of the appeal. For six people ordering several dishes, the total seemed reasonable considering the location, attentive staff, and atmosphere. Still, the food itself was unremarkable, and we expected better quality given the place's profile and prices. They charged a coperto at the start and still asked us for a tip at the end, which is uncommon in Italy. Glad we went once, but we wouldn't return.
