The quiet village of Viepri has lovely countryside all around it, along with historical and artistic heritage. Torre Antica is a beautifully restored old tower house, and Roberto, the owner, was kind, friendly, and always ready to help. There are three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, plus a kitchen and dining room and a terrace. Everything was spotless and neatly arranged, with thoughtful decor. For the price, I can’t imagine finding better value. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting an authentic stay in the Italian countryside, with plenty of interesting towns and villages nearby.

A comfortable place for a peaceful New Year’s Eve in a hamlet of Massa Martana. The old tower had a fireplace, a wood-fired oven for pizza, bread, and cooking, and independent heating. There was no TV. Mr. Roberto was incredibly kind. He provided everything we needed for breakfast, along with fresh fruit and two bottles of his own wine as a welcome gift. Highly recommended! Roberto and Nadia P.S. Photos of the fireplace, the wood-fired oven, and the meat cooked in it 😆

Viepri is so quiet and charming. Mornings bring the sound of birds, and the peaceful setting in the Umbrian hills makes this a lovely base for visiting the region’s main attractions, even in the busiest months. It’s easy to relax and feel surrounded by nature. We stayed two nights and didn’t want to leave. The B&B has been renovated beautifully while keeping its distinctive historic character, so staying there feels like stepping back in time. Roberto gave us a warm welcome, was very helpful, and left everything we needed for excellent breakfasts. Highly recommended, and thank you, Roberto. We hope to come back soon!

I first stayed here eight years ago, and I’ll come back again on my next trip to Umbria. The place has a magical atmosphere and feels frozen in time, with history in every corner. Viepri is a splendid setting, and the location works well if you have a car. Mr. Roberto is extremely helpful. The fireplace works well and there’s plenty of wood, with lots of attention to detail. The bathroom and shower are unmissable, and breakfast has plenty of delicious choices. I highly recommend it.

A peaceful three-day stay in a truly enchanting old tower. My partner, our one-month-old son Riccardo, and I felt a bit like princes and damsels, as living there is like stepping back in time. It’s a handy base for anyone looking for quiet and tranquility while visiting the region’s main attractions. Highly recommended.
