The little hut had a bed and a fridge, and the staff were nice, though communication could be tricky if you speak English. It got sauna-hot inside because the roofing felt had melted the window shut. Charging €7 for air conditioning felt a bit cheeky. The facilities were okay, but not especially clean.

We came in a camper, and it was about €36 for two adults. The place is close to the beach, the toilets and showers are good, and the Wi-Fi worked well.

The beach was another letdown: packed with people, with sellers of junk, and very shallow water. At the campsite, dirt from the pitches gets onto your bed, and the toilets were awful, either missing seats or Turkish style. There was no toilet paper. For the price, it’s not worth it and certainly doesn’t feel like a three-star camp. I wouldn’t come back to this part of Italy.

The beach is included in the high price, but our spot was way back, around row 8, and the sea was dirty. The bungalows are tiny, like prison cells. This holiday industry setup is only for people who enjoy being packed in with the crowds.
