Casa Leonardo

On the way to the port of Livorno to catch a ferry, I stopped overnight in Massa and chose this family run hotel after reading the online feedback. It has free parking, and the village and beach are both within walking distance. The room had a large, comfortable bed and plenty of space to work. The decor is unusual, with a vintage, almost nostalgic feel. Breakfast the next day was excellent, especially the cappuccino. There was a wide choice of healthy local fruit, and they even made eggs and bacon for me when I asked.

The room was a good size and very comfortable, and the price was good. The hotel is close to both the beach and the Center, and breakfast was excellent. The front desk staff were friendly. I especially liked the beach bag with two towels they provided, which was perfect for heading to the beach.

The parking lot is small and tricky to get into. Still, the rooms were very clean and tidy, the breakfast had the best range I’ve ever seen, and the staff were the kindest I’ve met. Gorgeous place.

The rooms are kept in great condition and are super clean. It’s really close to the town center and beach, too. This family run hotel is lovely, with exceptional kindness and attention to guests. Highly recommended!
