The house was clean and tidy, which I can believe given the €200 cleaning fee, but it was far too cramped for eight people. The rental contract took months to arrive, and in the end we had to sign it in a rush when we got there. The employee was rude and discourteous. We were told to keep our voices down less than five minutes after arriving at 10:00 PM, before we’d even unpacked, and were threatened with the police. Then Gianluca's employee came over and rudely told us to shut up, with a swear word. The really scandalous part came on departure day. The owner pointed out a broken wooden slat at the back of a bunk bed and accused us of breaking it, though there were no broken pieces on the floor. At first he said the repair would cost no more than €100, which was already crazy. Later, an email claimed a wooden panel that shouldn’t cost more than €30 would cost €300. I’d only recommend this house if you like being teased.
