We arrived around 11 PM for the bed and breakfast we’d booked through Booking.com. There was a strong musty smell in the room, which was especially concerning because I’m allergic and can detect mold easily. Since it was out of season, the heating and air conditioning weren’t working, and the room only had a sheet and thin summer blanket. They had no warmer bedding when we asked, so we canceled and moved to a hotel 10 km away. After we got home, we requested at least a partial refund. The hotel refused outright and gave contradictory explanations: first that nobody had asked for warm bedding, then that they wanted to help us. At 11:30 PM, I don’t see how they could have. The whole response felt somewhat arrogant.

Parking was a real plus, and the beach is only a 4-5 minute walk away. The staff were extremely attentive and friendly, and the whole hotel was very clean. Our room had everything we needed and was well equipped. Grazie.

We stayed nearly a week and had a great time. The breakfast was amazing, with the staff bringing it to the table. Thanks, Rosy and Goia, for all the kindness and smiles, we really appreciated it. The hotel was clean and warm, and the room had enough space for three people. The beach is less than five minutes away. At big five star hotels, we’ve walked farther just to get there.

We love smaller hotels that feel cozy, and this was a really pleasant eight day stay in July. The staff were kind, the rooms clean, and the food excellent. Breakfast and parking for our car were included. There are plenty of nearby restaurants if you want to eat elsewhere, and the beach is very close. Pisa is about an hour’s drive and Cinque terre around an hour and a half, so both are easy to visit. We’re sure we’ll be back next summer.

It was clean and in a great location, but it was so cold that we couldn’t sleep. We called twice in the middle of the night to ask them to turn on the heating. They did, then switched it off again half an hour later. We were there with our baby. At checkout, when we asked why, they told us we had only paid 40 Euro.
