B&B Appia Antica

They'd called us 12 hours ahead to confirm when we'd check in, but when we arrived, they said they'd overbooked and moved us to a different building. Completely unacceptable. We were put in an apartment elsewhere, then had to go back to the main building for breakfast the next day, which was obviously very inconvenient. The apartment smelled musty and dusty, and it had COCKROACHES. To get water from the sink, we had to play plumber and open the stopper underneath it. That part smelled like death. The only good thing was the women who welcomed us at breakfast. They were very kind and welcoming.

Awful customer service. I booked through Booking.com, and when they asked us to cancel, they made up a story about flooding. They never replied to messages or even phone calls. I really wouldn't recommend them. Luciana

The room smelled unbearably moldy, and the fridge was moldy too, though they had put breakfast items inside it. Its opening was another problem. The place was in terrible condition, with dirty walls and even millipedes in the room. There wasn't a toilet seat, the shower was broken, and the shower tray was worse. We didn't even have a bedside table or furniture to set our suitcases on. The photos posted speak for themselves. These criminals should be reported and locked up.

I've travelled a lot, and this was the worst place I've stayed. There was a worm in my shoe this morning, and the restaurant was just as bad, with confusion, rude service, and awful food. It takes real effort to do worse. The rooms were dirty, the bathrooms unusable, and furniture was missing, including a closet and bedside tables. None of the electrical outlets worked properly. Breakfast was a dirty coffee machine and snacks that weren't up to standard. Save yourselves!
