The pool was fantastic, spotless, and had lovely water, and the garden and sea view were beautiful. The terrace garden with its barbecue was another bright spot. But the house needs serious upkeep. Dust had built up under the beds, and springtails got in through leaky windows and blackout curtains, ending up in the beds and even the baby's cot. The screens were torn or missing, especially in the upstairs terrace room, where we found the most insects. The drains were badly overdue for cleaning and emptied very slowly. We raised these problems more than once, including with EMMA VILLAS, but only got verbal replies and no fixes. The bathrooms and kitchen are also badly in need of renovation, and the damaged ping-pong table wasn't really usable for a proper game. It's a shame, since the building itself is old and stately. We asked EMMA VILLAS about a goodwill gesture on the weekly rate of €5332.00 and still haven't heard back. Maybe something will come of it yet.
