The location is great for a lake holiday and getting out into nature, whether that’s hiking or visiting Mottarone park and the Toce waterfalls. The chalet has a lovely mix of mountain charm and lakeside style. It’s huge and beautiful, with loads of comforts: a pool looking out over Lake Maggiore, underfloor heating, a fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen, a jacuzzi, and roomy, cozy bedrooms with lovely scented sheets and blankets. The design feels high-tech, too. Andrea was so welcoming and kind, always ready to help and suggest places to visit or restaurants with good food at a good price. Thanks so much, Andrea. I’d recommend this place without hesitation! 👍😉❤️

The view from this cottage over Lake Maggiore is breathtaking. Google Maps puts the location in the wrong place, but Andrea Rossi, Italian wood chopping champion 2021, sent photos that helped us find it. It’s much farther uphill, towards San Salvatore. The sun was shining from the moment we arrived, and once we were out of the wind it got scorching hot. I’d recommend coming here for a well-earned rest.

It’s a quiet, tidy place in the hills above Lake Maggiore, and just right for relaxing. Stresa, Arona, Mottarone, Lake Orta, and Mergozzo are only a few kilometers away, and Ticino in Switzerland is about 40 minutes away. Highly recommended.

We found the owners so kind, and the house itself was spacious, spotless, and well laid out. It’s peaceful and private, with a view of the lake. We had a barbecue in the garden, then enjoyed our first swim of the year in the pool. I’d definitely recommend the property.

The hosts, a Polish woman and an Italian, were glad to point us toward local gems for relaxing or getting out and about. The house is thoughtfully built, with real attention to detail and practicality, and the pool is fantastic. The lake view is beautiful too.
