We stayed one night at hotel fioriti, a charming historic building right in central Matelica. Parking in the main square was easy, just a few hundred meters away. It feels like a family-run place, with a cozy and very hospitable atmosphere. Breakfast is served in the building’s old cellar, with plenty of homemade, grandma-style treats. The value for money is great. It isn’t a luxury property, so I gave it 4 out of 5, but within its category it deserves the highest rating. Highly suggested.

The welcome was good, and the location is convenient. The Wi-Fi in the rooms wasn’t reliable, and the bed was just straightened rather than having its sheets changed. Pets are welcome :)

The rooms are simple, but comfortable and equipped with everything you need. Breakfast was generous, with lots of homemade items. It’s a lovely historic place, and the people were very friendly and helpful.

A lovely family-run hotel with a friendly welcome. Breakfast was first class, with homemade pastries and cakes as well as ham, cheese, cereal, and yogurt.

We had lovely food, and the manager was very helpful. Our motorcycles were parked safely in the courtyard. Nice hotel, definitely recommend.
