A lovely place to stay in Pignola, with an elegant room and all the comforts you need. Some extra heating might be welcome. There’s parking nearby, and I’d absolutely recommend it.

The owners were so kind and available that we felt right at home. The property is clean, welcoming, and kept in meticulous condition, with a unique atmosphere and a great location. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back!

The house is roomy enough for a whole family, even on a long stay, though I’m usually there on my own. It has three bedrooms? No, one sleeping area, a fully equipped bathroom, a large-screen TV in a small sitting room, and a study and library corner. There’s also a kitchen with appliances and utensils, a dining area, and a utility hallway with a washing machine and ironing board. The fireplace works wonderfully for winter evenings, and there’s even a wood-fired oven for bread or pizza. I like to cook, especially with a fireplace or barbecue, but one night after a long day at university I ordered a pizza and side dish from "Le Fiamme". In less than five minutes, the young delivery man arrived at the door on his scooter, weaving through the narrow lanes with my dinner before I’d even set the table. Delivery is prompt and reasonably priced. Mrs. Rocchina, who runs the B&B, is always attentive and nearby, ready to help with extra needs at any hour. The value for money is extraordinary. The residence is in the historic center of Pignola, a lovely village near Potenza, where restoration has brought new life to old monuments and buildings. The residents keep everything looking cared for, from flower-filled balconies to the wrought-iron tables and seats set out for travelers. From the main square, it’s just a few steps and old stone stairs through the alleys to the front door, which looks onto a widened spot turned into an elegant little garden. Local shops sell authentic products and make it easy to enjoy the village’s everyday life. There’s also plenty of nature nearby, with woodland walks in summer and ski outings in winter. Bring sturdy boots or hiking shoes for the season, and enjoy a relaxing stay.
