We stayed here with two girls, ages 4 and 9, and the house worked really well for a family. The location made for a pleasant 15-minute walk to the center and the Sassi. There's a small market 50 meters away, handy for picking up lunch or dinner supplies. Hospitality, cleanliness, friendly service, and tasteful furnishings were all top-notch. If I'm back in Matera, I'll stay here again. Thank you, Rosaria.

After our long journey, Rosaria welcomed us with homemade muffins, fruit juice, and cold water, which hit the spot. The apartment is immaculately looked after, and the center is about a 15-minute walk along the main road. From there, the Sassi are simply breathtaking.

The hostess was warm and friendly, and even made us some treats herself. The house felt welcoming and clean, with a lovely homely atmosphere. Recommended.
