We found the rooms beautifully decorated and within easy walking distance of Matera's restaurants and sights. The owners were kind and helpful. The building sits above an old cistern, which you can access by ladder. Definitely worth staying here.

The apartments are right where you want to be in Matera, and the interiors are thoughtfully designed. Tiziana was a wonderful host. We're so glad we stayed at Piano Piano, and we'll tell friends visiting the city to consider it too.

Giuseppe was a great host, and I loved every moment of our stay. The Sassi area has so much history, and we were right in the middle of it.
