Staying in a real cave in Matera was amazing. The place was beautiful and very clean, with a huge bathroom and a nice kitchen. It's right in the heart of Sassi, a perfect location. The hosts were especially helpful with transport and tours, and communicating with them in English was easy. I highly recommend it!

A great base in Matera, with a convenient location, tasteful decor, and everything fully equipped. I loved staying here.

Adriano, the owner, was wonderful, kind, and always available with advice. The property is spotless, with every detail taken care of, and sits right in the center, making it ideal for exploring the city on foot. Fantastic place, highly recommended.

The house is definitely unique, but I was disappointed by a lot of things. There was nobody there to welcome me, the whole place felt unclean, and there was a strong musty smell as soon as I walked in. The towels were old and torn. For what I paid, I expected much more.

This cozy two-room apartment works really well for a couple or two friends. It has a splendid view of the Sasso Barisano and is just a dozen steps or so from Via delle Beccherie, right by Matera's historic center. I've recommended it to clients, friends, and relatives. They really appreciated the cleanliness, the advice, and the kindness of the lady who manages the vacation rental.
