The villa's historic character and beautiful setting make it a wonderful spot for peace and quiet, just a few kilometers from the city center. The property looks straight out over a spectacular ravine, with lovely scenery all around. The whole staff were friendly and professional, and we ate really well, with typical local dishes prepared on request. I've come to think of this as my favorite place to stay when visiting Matera and nearby areas. I'd recommend it to couples and families alike. I absolutely have to come back!

From the terrace, the view is breathtaking, and the large garden has several fruit trees. The location is peaceful, easy to reach, and there's plenty of parking right by the entrance. The Sassi and city center are close and quick to get to. My wife and I had a relaxing weekend at Villa Sine Tempore. The staff were welcoming, courteous, and helpful, and our room was comfortable, very clean, and decorated in its own style. We had a roomy shower, plenty of towels, and good quality toiletries. There was also a little fridge with drinks, a kettle with different teas and herbal teas, and a hairdryer. The rooms are quiet, well air-conditioned, and accessed by key cards. Thanks to Teresa and her sisters for such a peaceful break.

We loved the veranda overlooking the ravine and the breathtaking scenery around it. The owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and breakfast had a good variety of quality products. The accommodations were spacious and spotless. Villa Sine Tempore Fumarola B&B offers a one-of-a-kind service. Highly recommended for a stay in Matera or nearby!

The owners know their stuff and are always available, and the value for money is phenomenal. Right on the edge of the ravine, the place has a breathtaking view and lovely, spacious, elegant rooms with every comfort and careful attention to detail.

I'm from Matera and have stayed at plenty of places, but this beautiful bed and breakfast has something extra. The hosts were kind and full of smiles, and the sunrise view was beautiful. We spent three days enjoying the elegant, charming property and its warm hospitality. We'd happily come back for more rest and relaxation, and for a sumptuous sunset aperitif in the lovely garden.
