The host has such a big heart, and you can feel the care that goes into everything. We stayed in a charming house with a beautiful garden, peaceful and full of life, with little spots that made it easy to relax. Breakfast was fresh and lovingly put together each morning. The cuddly cat and friendly dog made the place feel even warmer. It was a little paradise in Italy, and we’d return in a heartbeat. If I could, I’d give it 11 out of 10. We won’t forget it.

At Sosta a Ponente, the greenery is there to greet you when you wake and see you off at night. There’s a picture-perfect patio, the sound of silence, and a real sense of peace. And then there’s Daniele, with his empathy, hospitality, generosity, and readiness to help, plus the fantastic Ian (I hope I’ve got the spelling right) and Pepe. Please don’t wonder why Daniele hasn’t put in a pool. Get in the car, drive 10 minutes, and see what kind of sea this area around Sosta a Ponente has to offer. Next time, I hope there’ll be a walnut tree instead of a pool that really isn’t needed. Thanks, Daniele, and thanks, Matino. See you soon!

The rooms are spotless, with breathtaking views across the countryside, and there’s such a peaceful feeling around the house. Daniele is calm, kind, respectful, and so welcoming. The whole place invites you to slow down, take in the senses, and escape everyday life in the Salento countryside. Breakfast is top-notch. This was my best stay in Salento, and I’ll definitely be back.

Pepe the cat and the two dogs, Yan and Boris, were a real treat for us animal lovers. I’d never been to Puglia before, and I fell in love with it. Daniele made us feel at home straight away; he’s a wonderful person, always available and full of helpful suggestions. The property is in a quiet inland spot, well placed for getting to Salento’s main attractions. Our room was clean and well kept, and Daniele served plentiful breakfasts with typical local products. We’ll definitely return.
