The host was very helpful, and self check-in made arrival at any hour easy, with the directions sent over WhatsApp. The property is a lovely spot in a private courtyard, with several lofts that can suit groups. Booking by the hour is also an option. Recommended.

This didn't live up to what we expected. The apartment is on the small side, though it has the basics, and wouldn't suit a family or a stay longer than a weekend. Cleanliness was disappointing. Breakfast was just coffee pods and toast, with no milk provided. We wouldn't come back. For the same price, there are better places nearby.

The Palazzo Ducale, once home to the town's duke and now used for exhibitions, overlooks this lovely square in Matino's historic center. In summer, the square becomes a gathering spot for different arts and music events.

The owners were very kind, and I recommend the apartment. It's comfortable, clean, and has everything you need, set in a lovely private courtyard.
