Silver Hotel

The room was run-down, with cracks in the walls, an old bathroom, and an unpleasant smell as soon as we walked in. There wasn't a proper fridge, just a portable cooler for the beach, and the wall table nearly fell over. We left after 20 minutes, once we'd found another place, but still had to pay for the night.

I was there after a wedding and was really disappointed by the rooms and the lackluster cleanliness. The location felt desolate and dark, and that especially put me off. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was excellent, so it was acceptable in those ways, but I wouldn't repeat the experience, particularly because of where it is.

The staff were more than kind and cordial, and the massage therapists had phenomenal hands. Their warmth helped us enjoy the spa visit. The facilities, though, need work, and the price didn't feel right for what we got. The emotional shower didn't really function, with just music and a few lights, plus limescale everywhere. The sauna door is a bit crooked and should be fixed. The hot tub worked in a very strange way, and a screen between the two areas would give some privacy. The bathroom showers had only cold water, so washing was impossible.

The staff were incredibly friendly, and the massage was excellent. Two very kind, helpful women seemed almost embarrassed by how the rest of the spa visit went. The emotional showers didn't work and were covered in limescale, the sauna never got above 60 degrees, and the hot tub had no hydromassage and didn't work. The manager said it had gone into protection mode after we used it. The locker-room showers had no hot water either. To make up for these spa problems, they offered a facial scrub and lowered our package from €72 to €70, paid in cash. Avoid.
