The terrace has a breathtaking view of the Adriatic sea, and the food was Michelin guide quality. We had the chefs menu for 60€ per person, with four delicious antipasti, including my favorite, the parmigiana. The seasonal vegetables were a lovely touch: first came linguini with artichokes and shrimps, then a whole fish with baked potatoes. Dessert was a buttery biscuit topped with fresh cream and kiwi. The eggplant ravioli sprinkled with almonds and mixed fried seafood were fantastic, and both my kids devoured them. Service was quick, and the waiters were very friendly. We had a great time at the beach and in the restaurant, highly recommend.

The location is great, and the food was presented beautifully. The frozen fish still tasted good, but it wasn't what we were looking for. The bigger issue was the pricing by weight: they charged us for the whole frozen fish, around 300 gr, even though we had only about 80gr of carpaccio meat. That made the plate about 25€, which felt absurd for what it was. Absolutely overpriced.

One of the best dinners we've had anywhere: delicious food and first-class presentation. A meal like that would easily cost twice as much in New York or London. Michelin, you should take a look.

The beachside setting and food are fantastic. I've been twice, though, and the service fell just a little short on both occasions. If that improved, this would easily be a solid five-star review. Based on my experience, I'm taking off one star.

The Ravioli and Calamarita were delicious, and the terrace sits right on the beach in a wonderfully peaceful spot. In summer, that quiet is a real contrast with the usual Mattinata restaurants, where you may wait 15-20 minutes for a table. The staff spoke no English, and the menu wasn't in English either. Service was very slow, and they forgot our drinks. For one of the area's pricier, higher-class restaurants, that felt a bit sloppy. If you speak Italian and have plenty of time and cash to spare, it's still a must while you're in the area.
