We’ve stayed in three different sized apartments at Tenuta Santa Maria and always enjoy coming back. It sits in a beautiful olive grove, between the charming little town and gorgeous beaches that are just a short walk away. There are plenty of delicious restaurants in town and by the sea. All the apartments are spacious and comfortable, with reliable AC, well stocked kitchens, lots of storage, modern bathrooms and a sparkling clean feel. The property is secure behind a gate and has abundant parking. The owners are wonderful hosts who make you feel at home and take care of what you need. We definitely recommend a visit!

Pino really is the best host. He knows the area so well, and the service and location were fantastic. The place is comfortable and close to everything you’d want to see in Mattinata, including a fantastic beach about a 10 min walk away. On our first morning, he even drove me and my children to a local Cafe for coffee. Top notch.

This Air B&B is so nice and really close to the beaches in Mattinata. Pino does whatever he can to make the stay relaxing and enjoyable. During winter he showed me around the city so I could find more things to do. Most restaurants are closed then, but there’s still plenty to do in this beautiful city. I highly recommend staying here.

We’re staying here in the off season, and it’s been a wonderful experience so far. This is my first time in Italy, or anywhere in Europe, and Pino and his family have been such sweet, lovely hosts. They take great care of you whether or not you speak Italian. The rooms are spacious, modern and clean, with the comfortable feeling you want. The showers get hot and have excellent water pressure. Being right in the middle of an olive grove makes it feel like you’re surrounded by nature. It’s been the best, and has gone well beyond what I expected.

The owner was fantastic, looking after us as if we were family. The villas feel modern, and the private grounds are very secure with plenty of parking. It’s also easy to walk along the wide sidewalk to the beach, restaurants, or Mattinata.
