Casa Del Girasole

The house was a great base for our daily outings, though we also made it to the beach a couple of times. Lovely sand and a splendid sea. There was some seaweed and a few jellyfish, but they’re signs of clean water! The beach is only 7 minutes from the house, which was really convenient. We were six and had a great time. The house felt welcoming, with a brand new washing machine, two refrigerators, an oven, air conditioning, barbecue, TV, and more. There were two showers, one outside, and one bathroom. We wondered if that might be a problem, but we managed anyway 🤭🤭. The two girls slept in the living room on a very comfortable sofa bed, while the three adults slept in the two bedrooms. When we were home, we ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner outside on the beautiful veranda. Gianluca was so kind and generous, and his hospitality made the stay wonderful. He helped us find a shuttle to and from Trapani and contacted a car rental agency, who were just as kind and helpful. Gianluca, you were our fixer 👌😁! We stayed in July 2019. Sicily and Sicilians are BEAUTIFUL!! A warm hello to Gianluca in particular.
