The owner made our group of about ten friends feel so welcome as we headed toward the Via Francigena. She was always smiling and ready to help. We slept comfortably, had everything we needed in the kitchen, and ate together on the big wooden terrace as the sun went down. I rarely feel this at home in an agriturismo. Thank you!

We enjoyed the authentic breakfast, which the very friendly host prepares herself. There was lovely peace and quiet, and the rooms were spacious. Deer even wandered through the front garden, and walking routes start right around the cottage. Getting there was somewhat difficult, though, and there isn't much for tourists to do.

The house sits in the woods with stunning views over the valley, and it feels like somewhere from a fairytale. There are flowering plants all around and lovely scents in the air. The owner made the floors, stairs, and wooden doors, while the furnishings and construction show a minimalist, imaginative use of objects with different functions. We had an excellent dinner too. If you're after something poetic, this is the place.
