Antonio and Casey were wonderful hosts, and the grounds are incredible. Views open up from almost anywhere, whether you’re by the pool, in the upper gardens, at breakfast on the patio, or in your room. There’s romance in the air, and the local food is full of Tuscan tradition and ingredients. Staying in this medieval castle feels like a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I’d absolutely recommend it as a key stop on an Italy trip.

We’ve been returning to the castle for 20 years and still love it. The sweet village around it, the setting, rooms, food, and people all make this place special. Antonio and Kaci are always great at suggesting day trips and restaurants. Add it to your bucket list, you won’t regret it.

Castello delle Serre is a beautifully restored historic castle, and we spent six nights there with a small group tour. The owners and staff made all of us feel at home. There’s a library and a shared room where people can gather in the evening for conversation and wine. The property is lovely, the rooms and service were five-star, and breakfast was amazing. The dinners we had there were extraordinary. Antonio is a great host and a wonderful storyteller.

Kaci and Antonio made us feel at home as soon as we arrived at Castello Delle Serre. Their warmth carried through the whole stay, and their help with planning outings made exploring much easier. They shared their own maps and parking tips, and we saw far more than we could have managed alone: Chianti, Siena, Perugia, and the rolling hills around Montepulciano, with gorgeous views, good food, gelato, and wonderful wine along the way. The castle blends history and comfort, and waking up to the Tuscan countryside was a treat. After sightseeing, we spent time at the pool. When castle dinners are offered, don’t miss them: the food was amazing and the setting beautiful. It was a memorable Tuscan visit with gracious hosts who went above and beyond. We can’t wait to come back.

We spent a week there at the end of September, fitting in a wedding invitation and a vacation. The grounds are beautiful, Castello has been renovated so well, and the staff were kind and helpful. Kaci and Antonio are such gracious, lovely hosts, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming throughout. We had two dinners at Castello, both truly homemade Italian food. They were amazing, better than anything else we ate on this trip. We’ve visited Italy several times before, but this is somewhere we’d definitely return to.
