The lake-view room was a lovely surprise, since we got a free upgrade without asking. There’s plenty of parking, and lunch is well worth trying. We had requested vegan breakfasts and got a different made-to-order treat each morning. The regular buffet also changed day to day, with cheeses, cakes, and freshly squeezed orange juice. Staff across reception, the buffet, and housekeeping were warm and helpful, and made us feel at home. The pool and lakeside view are fantastic. We missed being able to have dinner at the hotel, since it serves breakfast and lunch only. It would also be nice if the whirlpool were heated and the showers had a stronger stream, though those are small complaints. We’d happily return and recommend it. The private beach and attentive service were great, and the beds were super comfortable. Coffee is made to order, Italian style, so just ask for what you want. I’ll be back.

The lake views from the outdoor area are expansive and beautiful, and the bar has a good range of drinks at reasonable prices. Our room and bathroom were spacious, and the staff were terrific. We had to leave before breakfast for an early flight, so they prepared breakfast for us to take along.

We found plenty of dining spots within walking distance, and the hotel is also a convenient base for a day trip to the Borromean Islands. It was the first stop on our 10-day Italian road trip, and the whole family loved the lakeside setting. Our lake-view room was fantastic, the hotel was comfortable, breakfast generous, and the staff very friendly. A lovely place to stay around Lago Maggiore.

The pool and beach facilities were really good, breakfast was nice, and everyone on staff was friendly. Two older women on the cleaning team were especially kind and did a great job. We stayed for five nights. Our front-facing room and bathroom were clean, but in our view both need a full renovation. The bath felt dangerous because of its shape and slippery surface, and the balcony was too narrow and small to use. We enjoyed the stay, though we’d only return after the rooms are renovated.
