La Boretta

A great spot, definitely worth recommending.

I stayed here for a week in July with a friend, and the house made a great base for exploring the lake and nearby area. It’s peaceful and cool, surrounded by nature, with a bird’s-eye view of the lake, green woods, and a large private garden with loungers for relaxing. The apartment is spacious, with three rooms over two levels, and it had all the kitchen equipment and accessories we needed for a longer stay. We found basic groceries like oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, mineral water, and coffee, along with toiletries and bath, bed, and kitchen linens. The bathroom is lovely, with both a bathtub and a walk-in shower. There were no mosquitoes while we were there, and the doors and windows have screens. The flat-screen TV worked well. Dana is friendly and extremely helpful, and works hard to keep the residence up to a high standard. Rosanna the cat came to the door every day, and I would have liked to let her in, but Dana is firm that dogs and cats aren’t allowed in the guest area. For a longer stay, a washing machine, perhaps shared, would be useful.

The owner is incredibly kind, and the rooms are clean and well equipped. It’s a charming, peaceful spot with an unmatched view of the lake. Compliments on everything!
