Alba Bed & Breakfast

A lovely spot if you’re looking to switch off. We spent two nights here in mid-July and Alba made us feel so looked after. Our room was pretty and welcoming, with a cool veranda, and breakfast was excellent with plenty to eat. We’ll definitely come back. Highly recommend!

We slept really well here, and the room felt cozy throughout our three-night stay. Breakfast was generous, with fresh local things like croissants, cream pastries, tasty jams, and homemade plain yogurt with quince jelly that you can’t buy in stores. Being able to park right outside the room made loading and unloading easy, including after a beach trip. Alba, the owner, is such a kind and thoughtful person, always paying attention to what you need. The property is near the prettiest beaches, Lecce, and lots of lovely places for excursions.

Breakfast here was especially memorable, with unusual treats like rose blossom jam and orange jam, the best I’ve ever tasted. Service was lovely and relaxing, and the hostess was so kind and sweet. The place sits peacefully in the Salento countryside while still being close to the most beautiful beaches around the Melendugno marina. Highly recommended.

Tucked among the olive trees, it’s a peaceful place with warm hospitality. Alba is thoughtful, helpful, and lovely, and it’s clear she wants guests to feel at home. Her breakfasts are a real strength, with local ingredients, jams, honey, freshly baked pastries, and rustici. We’ll be back soon!
