B&B Il Villino

Mr. Fabrizio was the best part of the stay, extremely kind and always available. The B&B is near both the beaches and the center. Our room was a little small and could use a bit more refinement. Breakfast was served in the room or outside, with packaged croissants and toast plus little portions of jam or chocolate spread.

Fabrizio made us feel at home straight away and was always there with useful tips for getting around Torre dell'Orso. We stayed in a ground-floor room with plenty of outdoor space. The rooms were well equipped with everything we needed for a dream holiday, and the cleanliness and service were impeccable. Breakfast was included in the price at a highly regarded local bar, and it was generous. The sea is only a few steps away, about a five-minute walk. Fabrizio and his villa made for a wonderful vacation in a beautiful location. Highly recommend!

Good morning, I stayed from July 15 to 20 in a modest room costing €120 a night, €600 in total. The price was for the room, with breakfast included, even though I was traveling alone. Mr. Longo picked me up at Brindisi airport for €70. The welcome wasn't great. I had to wait a full 15 minutes at the airport before being picked up and called twice to find out where he was. The car was dirty too, and I think keeping a vehicle clean is a basic sign of respect for a guest, especially for a €70 service. The room was very small, and the bathroom even smaller, with no space to use the bidet. The shower was very low and uncomfortable. If I had been just a little taller, I would have had to bend over to shower. There was no courtesy set when I arrived, not even a simple hand soap. Noise from nearby rooms and the street was constant. Breakfast is supposed to be included at a bed and breakfast. Here I was given two €5 vouchers per day to spend at a very expensive, crowded bar, where a brioche and fresh juice cost €5.70. For a room at €120 a day, was the included breakfast only worth €10? On the third night, my cousin joined me, and the owner insisted I still had to pay another €20 for breakfast, even though it was supposed to be included whether I was alone or with someone else. The owner is quite kind and polite, but in my opinion he lacks the values of hospitality. The reviews were all positive, so I trusted them. The one thing I appreciated, and really the least I could expect, was the daily room cleaning, which was at least acceptable. This place absolutely isn't worth the money it charges. The only thing it might just about be worth paying for is the location, less than five minutes from the first beach club. I'm truly sorry to leave this kind of review, but I work in this industry and feel it's only right to let future guests know about the property and how it's run. Kind regards, Sara Foresta
