Breakfast is at Pertini pastry shop just a few meters away, with good quality food and drinks and friendly, helpful staff. The B&B itself is a few kilometers from the seaside resorts and Lecce. I stayed two days with my family in a spacious, tidy, clean quadruple room with a fridge and TV. The bathroom was roomy and clean too, and had soap, shower gel, and a hairdryer. There's also a shared kitchen with a large refrigerator by the entrance. The owner was very kind and available for questions or requests. I'd highly recommend staying here.

The almond tree room was clean and really spacious, and from this central spot in Melendugno it's easy to get to lots of lovely beaches. The owner was courteous and helpful, even letting us leave our bags a few hours before check-in. Breakfast at the Pertini café was excellent. My one gripe is that cleaning is only every three days. We stayed four nights and could have used one more clean, even just in the bathroom, though our fourth day, or third night, was August 15th. Otherwise, I'd come back. ☺️

We had a great five-day stay in the Ulivo room. Daniela was very kind and took care of whatever we needed, and there's always free parking very close by along the street. Breakfast at a nearby café was excellent, though the choice is limited to coffee or cappuccino with a croissant or pasticciotto. Fruit juice might be a useful addition for people who don't drink coffee. The room has its own courtyard, handy for drying laundry after the beach. There's a kitchen guests can use too, though we didn't. I highly recommend the place.

The owner was so kind and helpful, and our air-conditioned room was spotless, with modern furnishings that felt just right for a holiday. We chose the breakfast option, which comes through a special deal with Pertini café, where the pastries are excellent, from pasticciotti to croissants and bomboloni. The location is great for crystal-clear beaches like Torre dell'Orso, Sant'Andrea and its Faraglioni rocks, and Baia dei Turchi.

Daniela and her family really made the stay with their kindness and willingness to help. I'd choose Corte Manzoni again if I return to Salento. The B&B is a renovated historic home dating to the 1400s, right in central Melendugno, with carefully chosen, tasteful furnishings. The photos give a good sense of the rooms. There's a fully equipped kitchen, living room, and small patio, and everything is clean and well looked after. The Adriatic coast and villages are only a few kilometers away, as are Lecce, Santa Maria di Leuca, and the Ionian coast. I spent six days in the Fico d'India room and felt at home. The value for money is excellent.
