B&B Casa Laviano

Everything was kept tidy and clean, and the rooms were comfortable with lovely furnishings. The staff were very kind and always ready to help. The B&B is in the center, close to plenty of shops, and easy to reach on foot. I'd recommend it 100%.

The best parts were the people and the town. The room itself looked lovely, was spacious and tidy, with the feel of an old home, but it hadn't been cleaned properly. There was urine and tire marks in the toilet, and hair around the bidet and sink. The bathtub looked so bad that after trying to clean it, we didn't use it. We only showered wearing slippers because we were worried about fungus or illness, and the room carpets had pubic hair on them. Getting there and checking in was difficult too. I could only give an arrival time of 4 or 5 PM because it was a five-hour drive, but they insisted those weren't the same time. Roadworks around town made it hard to find the place, and when I called for directions, the woman didn't know the local streets. I asked to pay by debit card, since it's required everywhere in Italy, but they said they only took cash. I couldn't withdraw because I'd hit my daily limit, and after we argued a bit and I said to call the police, they gave me bank details for a transfer.

We were welcomed warmly and courteously, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The central location has public parking right out front. Inside, the atmosphere feels like an early twentieth-century bourgeois home. Highly recommended.

Breakfast in the shared area was replaced with a voucher for a café a short walk away because of Covid. The rooms are comfortable, have a classic style, and are right in the center of town.
