Pineta Monserrato

We had a tidy, clean room with a coffee machine, fridge and air conditioning, plus toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast was included, generous and varied, with vegan choices too, and there’s private parking. The host was always available and gave us all the information we needed. The location was excellent: up a short flight of steps and just a few steps from Corso Umberto, where the historic train to the main sights departs, with lots of restaurants nearby. Thanks so much.

Mr. Vincenzo was friendly and helpful, and we felt right at home. Our room was clean and well arranged. The location was excellent, only steps from the beautiful historic center. Thank you.

We found the place welcoming and clean, with everything needed for a stay. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the bathrooms large. The owners were friendly and helpful. The historic center of Modica is less than a 5-minute walk away, so the location is perfect. The serious drawback is driving in: the entrance comes straight off a very busy road near a slight bend, which feels dangerous. You can’t get in from uphill. Take care.

Every room has its own parking space, which was the best part for us. The host was very kind and even offered us coffee. Our room was genuinely spacious, and with the recent heat we really appreciated the fridge. The air conditioning worked perfectly, while the new windows kept drafts out, so we barely needed to use it. There’s a fireplace for winter, too. The house smelled freshly cleaned when we arrived, and the sheets were freshly washed. It’s a great base for visiting Modica: 250 meters from the center and right on the main road for exploring the surrounding area.
