We were sorry to have just one night here. The location is great, and there’s everything you could want. The pillows were too hard, though. The restaurant on the corner was excellent, the guy spoke fluent English, and the food was fabulous.

The owner was very friendly, and the room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was good, though there wasn’t much choice. The location is perfect, just a short distance from the castle.

Getting there by car can be tricky, since the narrow streets in the historic center aren’t easy to navigate. I’d set the GPS for Melfi Castle, park nearby, and walk over. The location is also a real plus, just steps from the magnificent castle. We had a positive stay, with a very clean, comfortable, spacious room and an ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was abundant.

The owner was a friendly, helpful woman, and the place felt warm and thoughtfully put together. It’s an ideal base for exploring Melfi’s historic center on foot, with the castle and cathedral very close. My wife, son, and I had a wonderful time, and we’ll definitely return. Congratulations.
