Relais La Fattoria

It was a peaceful place to unwind, with very comfortable rooms. Thanks for making the stay such a pleasant experience.

The location is far from downtown, and the restaurant was mediocre. Breakfast didn’t seem fresh, and the cocktails were well below normal standards. The place has potential, but the service was very poor. Staff took pictures of my room and asked me to make the bed so the cleaning ladies wouldn’t have to do as much. They asked personal questions, seemed nosy, watched how much I ate, and commented on it in front of other guests. I paid for a very expensive room but felt like a guest in their home, where even basic service was a bother. There was a dog on the property with poop hanging from its coat, as nobody seemed to care. It may suit someone who wants to pay for a luxury experience, but I got grumpy staff asking me to clean. If you’re bringing a guest and care about your reputation, choose somewhere else. It felt pretentious and wasn’t worth the money. Updating this after reading the hotel’s reply: trying to discredit my review is really low. I don’t even have a dog, which confirms my disappointment.

The staff were warm and attentive, and everything was in order. It looked just as good in person as it did in the photographs.

Walking to the city center isn’t very easy, so driving is better. The hotel is old, but it’s in a very good location and the surroundings are pleasant. It’s close to the motorway, where there’s very little traffic jam. Breakfast was quite poor, with not much to eat. The WiFi was stable and fast enough, and there’s a nice restaurant inside the hotel.
