We were happy with our choice again this year, staying above the Salto plateau in this quiet farmhouse. The village is charming, and you can walk into Meltina on a safe sidewalk rather than along the road. The shops there have what you need. Our apartment was clean, with a bathroom in every room and an induction cooker. The owners were kind and easygoing, and breakfast is available on request for a fee. It was excellent, and there was enough for dinner too. The farm animals were lovely for children and adults alike, and the place suits families and couples. Donna Vulcano, my husband Carmine and I thank the Hans Irmgard family, their son and daughter-in-law for hosting us. We’ll be back, once I’ve taken care of my knees. I recommend it to everyone.

The kids had a blast with the animals, and this is a great spot for families. The apartment was cozy and very clean, just as it looks in the photos. Hans and his family were so kind and always around when we needed them. We’ve just got home from a wonderful stay. Thanks for having us, and I hope we’ll see you again soon! Elisa

The town has all the useful basics, from a pharmacy and minimarket to a pizzeria, plus a sparkling wine cellar and a distillery. It’s about 1.5 km from the apartment, with a safe walkway beside the road. The place itself was quiet, clean, and had everything we needed. Our unit had an induction hob and the cookware, though if I’m being picky, a coffee maker and oven were missing. The owners were really kind and helpful. Highly recommend.

It feels like coming home now. Irmgard, Hans, and Julian have become good friends over the years, and they’re such welcoming, spontaneous hosts. This was my 11th visit, and every holiday here has been wonderful and memorable. Already looking forward to next time!
