Panoramapension Etschblick

I spent a few days here with my family in early January. The rooms and shared areas were impeccably clean, and the hotel is conveniently located for getting around, about 40 minutes from Merano and Merano 2000. It's family run, and the food is both varied and excellent.

The food is excellent, and the room feels warm and welcoming. It's a nice, quiet place, with a view that has a beauty of its own. A good spot to step away from everyday life and slow down enough to enjoy things as they are. It's family run, so it feels like being at home.

The rooms were always clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s good value for money, too. The family atmosphere works well for groups of friends and families, and the food is excellent, with a changing menu of South Tyrolean specialties and dishes from around Italy made with fresh ingredients. The location is well placed for hiking or visiting Merano and Bolzano. The cable car, bus, and train are all free with the hotel card.

The food was authentic, made with genuine ingredients, and cooked just right. The owner and her staff were welcoming, professional, and always available, so we felt right at home. The rooms are extremely clean, well organized, and comfortable. It's a strategic location beside the cable car station, and the balcony and terrace offer an enchanting view, with space to dine or relax over an excellent glass of wine.
