I liked the value, especially since we planned to spend time in the room enjoying that balcony view. The room was fairly spacious, and though the building is old, it’s been renovated enough to be comfortable. Noise insulation was good too. The location is very convenient, close to the ferry stop and within easy reach of the city center. At reception, the male staff member seemed a little distant, while the female staff were warm and friendly. Breakfast is available for an extra fee, but for €25 per person I didn’t think the variety or quality justified the price. There’s no room service, though they’re fine with you bringing in small food items.

The view was the only good thing about this place. The AC never got cold, the internet was so bad it barely loaded anything, and housekeeping barged into our room every morning. The beds felt like lying on the ground, they were so hard. I honestly think this may be the worst hotel in all of Italy. Definitely not a 3-star hotel, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The young woman with glasses at reception was so helpful and friendly, and I’m very grateful to her. The hotel had everything I needed. My room was small but still felt spacious, and everything was lovely.

The pool area was nice, but the water was frigid and we weren’t allowed to have their overpriced drinks poolside. After the bartender said it was okay, a manager gave us a very harsh tongue-lashing for doing it. The so-called panoramic lake view cost extra, yet I needed a stool to see over the wall. Rooms are tiny, housekeeping walked in unannounced at 7:45am, and the free breakfast was a bait and switch. Parking was advertised as included but actually cost 20 euros a day. There’s a reason this hotel only has 3-star status. Don’t waste your time or money here.
