The host, Andrei, was everything you could ask for. The villa has a private pool and works well for families or larger groups, up to 8 people. Air conditioning in every bedroom was a godsend, and the lake views were spectacular. Menaggio center is a 5-10 minute walk down quite steep cobbled paths. It's close to the road, so you can hear traffic, but the privacy more than makes up for it.

A stunning rental with a huge private garden and a large terrace. It has four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a full kitchen, and an amazing pool with even better views. Menaggio center is about a 10-minute walk away, or less. We booked through air BNB.

A nightmare. We rented through ABNB and left straight away because the place had black mold and was infested with spiders and bugs.
