B&B Treviglio

The neighbors were so friendly, and we had a lovely view of the bell tower from this centrally located place. We stayed in the loft, which felt like home: roomy, spotless, and equipped with all the comforts, even a dishwasher. Families would do well here. Dogs are welcome, very welcome!

The only real hassle was the sloping ceiling over the tub, which meant I couldn't use it comfortably as a standing shower. I also hoped to see the apartment's inner terrace, but it was closed. I stayed three nights in the double room for work, and would happily come back. It's a clean, welcoming little apartment, furnished nicely, with an open layout and mezzanine that still gives you some privacy. They cleaned the room every day, and I appreciated having a coffee maker. There's also a small smokers' terrace just outside the front door, looking toward the square's lit-up bell tower.

Getting here is easy, and the central location is convenient. It's a peaceful spot in a lovely setting, with staff who are kind, attentive, and always available. Highly recommended, easily five stars!

The owner did deduct the breakfasts we couldn't use, but I won't be staying here again. I chose this B&B partly on the strength of the reviews, and the experience was a real letdown. It's central, but getting there wasn't very convenient, and finding parking nearby proved impossible. Public transport might be fine, but I wouldn't recommend arriving by car. The owner was hard to reach, slow to answer emails and texts, and evasive. Breakfast was included, yet the named bar wasn't open at 8:30, so we couldn't have it. I even took a photo of my watch in front of the closed bar, though I decided not to attach it. The courtesy items mentioned in the email and on the website were also lacking: there were three of us, but only two mini bottles and a small soap, plus tiny, dry towels that weren't enough. The fridge was switched off, there wasn't even welcome water, and the coffee machine and air conditioning were off with no explanation. Cleanliness was poor too, with cobwebs above the loft bed and dust in the bathroom. I left a piece of paper asking for it to be cleaned. The place had a lot of promise, but the result was totally inadequate. I'll certainly return to Treviglio, just not here.
