The gentleman was kind, and for what we paid the location was very good. The place was clean, too. But the breakfast was disappointing, and the blankets were small and short, and honestly not warm enough. The bed was two beds pushed together rather than a double. On the first night we nearly got locked out because the lady hadn't told us about the second entrance. A bit more care with those details would go a long way. “I'm sorry too, eh?”

We had a lovely stay and will definitely come back. Our room was spacious and welcoming, with a little balcony for fresh air, several lighting options, and a nice stove that kept us warm in this chilly yet hot city. The bus stop right outside was handy, since the place isn't near the city center. The staff were warm and friendly, and breakfast was delicious, with a lovely surprise in the bread and a good selection of cheeses. As a southerner, I didn't expect the room to be changed on the first day of our two-night stay, but it was.

The owner was very kind and helpful, and dogs are welcome. Our room was clean and nicely heated, and there’s parking onsite. It’s also just a 10-minute walk to the center of Merano.

The hosts were really friendly, and the breakfast and coffee were delicious. The place feels like a trip back in time, furnished with a lot of care and attention. A hidden gem for anyone who loves Tyrol, and affordable for a cycling trip too. Bikes can be locked away in a separate room.
