We had such a relaxing stay. The owner and staff were friendly and very helpful, and we loved the peaceful atmosphere and swimming pool. The hotel has a lovely countryside view and is within walking distance of town. The room and the building feel a little like stepping back in time, but everything was clean and working. My fiancé and I actually found the old-fashioned look charming, and we were very happy there.

Mr. Reiterer made our stay especially pleasant with his friendly, personal service. He was there from breakfast through the day, offering excursion tips, answering local questions, and serving drinks or light meals late in the evening, all despite his long hours. We felt very comfortable, and you don’t get that level of care even at some modern five-star hotels. Many thanks to Mr. Reiterer. The hotel itself sits in a lovely green setting, with a well-kept garden and a large pool. Merano is about a 30-minute walk away along charming little streets. Breakfast was perfectly adequate, with fresh products and individual requests accommodated when possible. Our room was clean and well maintained, though a bit dated. The bathroom was new and modern, and the large balcony had a magnificent mountain view. It felt almost like stepping back in time, but we can only agree with all the positive reviews.

It’s an older hotel in a quiet spot, and the price is affordable. The room furnishings are dated, but everything is in top condition. There weren’t many guests. Service was very friendly, breakfast generous, and the pool nice and clean. A bicycle was available, too. Highly recommended.
