Meranerhof

We had a great time at meranehof hotel. Our room was lovely, with a great view, and breakfast was amazing. The hotel is very central, right across from Merano terme, which is worth visiting.

Right in the centre of beautiful Merano, this hotel had excellent food and service. The staff were so kind and helpful, and made us feel welcome. Our spacious room had a balcony and a modern bathroom with a barrier-free steam shower option. We'd definitely stay here again.

Even with the hotel in the middle of the city, it was wonderfully quiet inside, with great sound insulation and a calm atmosphere. There was plenty of room in the pool and spa area even during the busy holidays, and the spa has three types of sauna. Our stay included a public transport ticket valid on all buses, which made it easy to reach nearby attractions; bus stops are just steps away, and Merano Therme is across the street. The hotel is right downtown Merano. The service, food and location were excellent during our five days there around New Year's Eve, with our family of five. The lovely owners chatted with guests and welcomed us to dinner each night. Talking with other guests, we could see many return year after year. Most were older couples, with one or two families with children. Thank you to Signora Astrid and her staff for a lovely stay! 💖

We were made to feel very welcome by the owners and staff, who were friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable, and the food is great. The hotel has been beautifully restored, with a central spot overlooking the river Meran and right next to the thermal spa. Guests get 10% off spa tickets, and reception will arrange everything if you ask. I'd highly recommend staying at hotel Meranerhof.
