Residence Pollingerhof

The owners, Mr. and Mrs. Huber, were kind and always around if we needed anything. The residence sits among apple orchards and has a lovely pool in the park. Our spacious room had plenty of comforts, including a dishwasher, with wood furniture and carpeted floors. It’s a 12-minute walk to the Merano thermal baths and city center, and just two minutes to a large supermarket and a McDonald's. A comfortable, relaxing place. I’d recommend it to couples and families alike.

We were greeted so warmly, and the cozy apartment had everything we could need. It was peaceful, and the pool made the stay even nicer. The center of Merano is about 20 minutes away, while Trauttmansdorff Castle is only a few minutes away. There’s also a bread delivery service.

As soon as you arrive, everyday life fades and the holiday starts. This little gem sits among apple trees with beautiful mountains all around, and it’s hard not to love it. There are six holiday apartments, and everything you could want is taken care of. The pool has a stunning view of the surrounding mountains. The hosts are incredibly friendly and warm, and that alone makes you feel welcome and at ease. It’s the kind of place you miss as soon as you leave.

The views over the South Tyrolean mountains are stunning by day, and at night when the mountains are lit up too. The Huber family made us feel welcome, and the apartments were clean and comfortably furnished. The garden and pool were well cared for and inviting, with practical touches throughout. There’s shaded parking, plus a handy garden toilet where you can change after swimming without going back to your apartment. A real oasis.
