The garden feels tucked away and private, though you’re right in the historic center. The apartment itself is lovely, with a bedroom looking onto the bell tower and a fully equipped kitchen. The heated pool under the gazebo is a real treat. In the evening, you can soak beneath the stars, surrounded by little lights with the bell tower lit up nearby. The B&B owner, who hosts at the historic café and wine shop in the center, is just a nod away and can bring over some bubbly to enjoy in peace.

The private garden is beautifully kept, and you can get a welcome drink at the Caffè Ragno downstairs. Right in the middle of the medieval village of Mercato Saraceno, the place is wonderfully located. The post-modern room decor makes a lovely contrast with the outdoor surroundings. A really lovely experience, highly recommended.

Surrounded by greenery, the place is close to the historic center but tucked away from prying eyes. It has the evocative feel of somewhere “lost” to memory, while still feeling part of the present.
