Casa dei Mulini

The apartment has a lovely view over the lake and town, and it's clean, spacious, modern, and comfortable. It's on the top floor of a building above the lake, somewhat tucked away near the old school in a fairly quiet spot. The landlords were welcoming, helpful, and discreet, but you do need to speak Italian. The town center is around a 10-minute walk away. There are three restaurants and a pretty promenade, but not much else to see there. Verbania is a 15-minute drive. Trains on the line across from the building and traffic on the road below are a little bothersome. The bigger issue was the heavy smokers in the apartment downstairs. Their smell drifted straight from their balcony to ours, which made sitting outside rather unpleasant. Still, those are small complaints in the scheme of things. We've rented lots of vacation apartments, and this is one of the best we've had. Highly recommended.

The accommodation had everything we needed, and the beach was only a short walk away. We had a wonderful stay in this charming town and wished we could have stayed longer. Thanks so much, we'd love to come back!
