We loved the warm welcome from Emilia and the lemon trees, along with the view of Naples and how close it is to Vesuvius. The price was good too. If you're looking for a place to stay on a trip to Vesuvius, I'd recommend meeting Emilia at La Mariposa.

Emilia and Francesco made us feel right at home. They shared great local ideas, booked us a table at a lovely restaurant on Vesuvius, and even drove us to and from the local train station for our outings. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was lovely, with fruit from the garden. They couldn't have been more helpful. A really lovely stay!

Emilia and Francesco were incredibly kind and helped us with several requests. The place was spotless, and breakfast was very nice. We loved having the sea on one side and Vesuvius on the other, with a cute pool in between and a BBQ guests can use. It was the best B&B we've stayed at in Italy, and we'd definitely recommend it.

We hadn't planned to stay, but ended up spending a night here and really enjoyed it. The terrace and pool have a great view over Naples, and the place felt welcoming. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the host was friendly and helpful. We're both vegan, and she was happy to make us a suitable breakfast when we asked. Let her know ahead of time. She also shared lots about the Vesuvio and Ercolano and suggested things to do nearby. We'd happily recommend it. Thank you!

People were very nice, as usual in Napoli. The building was noisy, though: we could hear other guests as if they were in our room, and the heavy main door echoed through the whole place. The location is remote and hard to reach, and parking was difficult. The bathroom smelled like a drain, and the shower fixture was broken.
