The location is excellent, so I might come back someday, perhaps after a major renovation and with owners who are more customer-friendly. For now, the stay was definitely negative. The place smelled musty, and wallpaper was peeling in several spots in the hallways. Going out onto the charming little balcony felt risky, with its cracked concrete floor and exposed rebar. Every room we saw had a nice TV on display, but none worked. Asking the owner why won't get you anywhere. The helpful owner also forgot to mention the shower situation: you have to run all the hot water taps for at least ten minutes first. Don't panic if the water comes out red at the start, it's picturesque. It eventually gets lukewarm. There's a small tub with a "sitting area" and no curtain, so expect to splash the whole bathroom. When a serious health problem forced me to leave the hotel (hostel??) one night early, I got no help with the unused night I'd already paid for or the breakfasts I missed. The response was, "what's had is had...".

The place was very clean, and the woman who does the cleaning deserves praise. The rest was disappointing, and I don't think I'll return. Our room looked dated, and the bathroom had a mini tub with a showerhead that dangled and couldn't be hung up. One person had to hold it while the other washed, so you'd need two people to shower. Parking was limited to a few spots on a sidewalk between concrete posts. Otherwise, there was the municipal paid lot. Breakfast was rather poor, with nothing savory and no particularly good quality.

It was an okay stay. The property was clean, and the staff all wore masks and followed the Covid-related rules. But the place felt dated, especially the old bathtub and shower. Breakfast was meager and not very good, and there was no hotel parking, only paid parking nearby.

The food was really good, though the portions were small for the price. €13 for 6 ravioli felt excessive, especially with the excellent Locanda ai Dogi just 30 meters away. Breakfast was very poor and sad, too. The room was clean and had all the comforts except Wi-Fi, which only worked in the lounge, not in the rooms. The location is excellent if you need the hospital. I'd like to see more flexibility in meeting tourists' or guests' needs.

The staff were really friendly, and breakfast was a good continental spread. The location is perfect, but the rooms have dated furnishings and the beds aren't very comfortable. There's no parking on site: you'll need to use public parking, either paid or with a parking disc. The only free spaces are more than half a kilometer away on foot.
