B&B Punta Cutieri

We loved our stay at B&B Punta Cutieri and hope to return soon. In Gallipoli’s old town, it has a gorgeous sea view and is close to a sweet little beach that wasn’t too busy. The tiny maze-like lanes make it easy to reach the old city center. Giorgio is friendly and incredibly accommodating. He clearly loves his work, takes time with every guest, and does his best to meet their requests. His recommendations for activities, restaurants, and places to visit were always good, and he has great local connections. The spaces are arranged creatively, with a modern, clean, and comfortable feel. The breakfast area is especially lovely, overlooking both the sea and town. Early in the morning, you can sit on the rooftop terrace in the town’s quiet, with the sea and seagulls in the background. It’s a lovely way to start the day.

Giorgio made the stay feel like home away from home. You can tell right away that he loves his work. I spent two nights here and found the place just right, with a very clean room and everything I needed. The shower pressure was great, which I especially appreciated. I had the room with a balcony, and it was beautiful to step outside in the morning and see the sunrise, then watch the sunset in the evening. There’s also a rooftop that I used for aperitivi. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, and Giorgio prepared coffee or cappuccino. I’d highly recommend it and will come back.

The rooftop terrace has the best view of any place I’ve stayed. Our room was spotless and spacious, with the sea just outside the window, almost close enough to toss a coin into. The bed was comfortable, the shower was good, and the towels were soft. We could keep our bikes inside, which was great. The B&B looks onto the island ring road, and Giorgio, the proprietor, has lived here for 30 years. He’s a lovely, friendly, helpful man. He’d probably disagree, but his English is perfect.

We found this charming B&B at the last minute and were so glad we did. Our ground-floor room was beautiful, set in the nave of a church. The terrace overlooking the sea was fantastic, breakfast had a great selection, and the service was excellent throughout.
