La Casa del Mamao

We’ve had family visit from France and the UK, which has been a lovely bonus. Mergozzo has also been a great base: we’ve taken boat trips on nearby Maggiore, paddle boarded on Mergozzo, tried the zip lines, gone to the market, and eaten at local restaurants. We’re not even halfway through our stay, but we already feel at home in this lovely house. It has everything we need, and we’ve been able to bring our dog. Daniela was helpful from the start, sharing useful information when we booked, welcoming us on arrival, showing us around, and giving parking tips. She kept us updated about work at a neighbour’s house, and when we mentioned a small issue so it wouldn’t become a bigger problem later, she sent someone to sort it out. She also gives us plenty of privacy. We’re absolutely delighted to be here.
